IFCI raised the bar by changing the way Carpet and Flooring Inspectors have been Certified for the past 30-years.

IFCI’s Carpet and Flooring Inspector Training-Certification stands above the rest because we’ve designed and implemented the first and only, hands-on training.

There is no other Flooring Inspector Certification Program like IFCI’s!

The level of inspector IFCI has produced is remarkable. IFCI hands-on training not only improved the inspector’s understanding of the inspection process, field tests and report writing, inspectors leave this training more confident and successful in the field.

IFCI Training is not just for Newbies!
Experienced inspectors will learn new skill sets and increase their level of knowledge. IFCI has proven that old dogs can learn new tricks!

Greater Retention of Program Material:

Students who practice what they’re learning in a hands-on environment retain more information as opposed to sitting in a lecture room and listening intently.

Hands-on Flooring Inspections:

IFCI’s training methods are especially effective because a hands-on learning environment gives students the chance to practice, and practice makes perfect.

When students learn the art of flooring forensics, and practice inspection methods, field tests and report writing they retain what they’ve learned and are better prepared for real-time inspecting.

IFCI Instructors Provide Personal Guidance:

We work in small groups during training to provide individual attention to each of our students. Rest assured that IFCI instructors have the necessary real-world experience and knowledge our student’s respect

Simulated Learning:

IFCI’s hands-on learning environment stimulates the students, not only to practice and learn as much as possible but also to think outside the box.  By challenging students we find their appetite for learning is markedly increased, and their skill set improves.

Critical Thinking Skills Are Developed:

In the classroom, students rely on memory and attention. The goal of hands-on training is the expectation that students will learn to make on-the-spot decisions that can affect a desired outcome. For these reasons, we choose to keep this program as down-to-earth and hands-on as possible.

IFCI’s Mentorship Program:

A mentor will be assigned to all new inspectors, and available to any experienced IFCI inspector upon request. IFCI mentors will provide you with guidance and advice. They will make you think, they will ask tough questions, and from time-to-time they will challenge you. But the most important thing your mentor will do is push you; to be the best!
